The St. Helen Carnival takes place at St. Helen Catholic School in the heart of Chicago's Ukrainian Village.
Getting Here
By Car
Street parking is available throughout Ukrainian Village, although walking to the event or taking public transit is encouraged. Augusta Blvd. will be closed from Western Avenue to Leavitt Street.
Public Transit
St. Helen is served by CTA bus routes and is a short trip from Blue Line stations. The 49 Western Bus drops off at the Carnival entrance at Western Ave. and Augusta Blvd.
Bike & Walk
Ukrainian Village is a walkable and bike-friendly neighborhood. Bike racks are available on nearby streets.
Accessibility
The Carnival grounds are at street level and wheelchair and stroller accessible, with accessible restrooms on site and volunteers available to help. Contact the school office with any specific accessibility questions.
